Biography

Dr. ZHANG graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine and in 1998 with a master's degree in general surgery. He got a doctor’s degree of general surgery in 2003. From November 2005 to April 2006, a visiting scholar in Miami University. From July 1998 to now, he worked in the first affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University as attending physician, associate senior physician and director of vascular surgery. He is expert in minimally invasive endovascular and hybrid therapy of complex aortic diseases, especially in fenestration technique which significantly reduces surgical trauma and greatly reduces surgical mortality and complications.
