Biography

Hu Rongrong, MD, is a cataract and glaucoma specialist and her goal is to preserve patients' vision in the most holistic and beneficial way. She completed her undergraduate and graduate medical education at Zhejiang University and joined the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in 2007. In 2013-2015, she completed her glaucoma research fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Ophthalmology under the direction of Lyne Racette, PhD. Dr. Hu specializes in phacoemulsification surgery for cataract, surgical and nonsurgical treatments for glaucoma and ocular trauma. She is especially interested in the basic and clinical research for glaucoma and has published articles concerning glaucoma progression analysis, surgical complications of cataract and glaucoma, and exploration of novel surgical procedures.
