Early this morning, great news from the Zhejiang Campus encouraged all the medical staff. The first COVID-19 patient who had lung transplantation in FAHZU weaned from Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). She is the oldest COVID-19 patient who underwent lung transplantation in the world. Now she is getting much better.
On March 8th, FAHZU Intensive Care Team overcame another challenge by carrying out another lung transplantation for a 70-year-old COVID-19 patient through MDT discussion.
