Dr. Chen is an associate senior attending in the Division of Rheumatic and Autoimmune Diseases. Dr. Chen obtained his M.D. at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. at Zhejiang University. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency, as well as a Rheumatology Fellowship at the Zhejiang University. He conducted several clinical and translational research projects and published 25 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as PNAS, J Immunol, Front Immunol, Rheumatology, Cell Mol Immunol, Stem Cells Int, PLOS One, J Immunol Res, Genomics Proteomics Bioinformatics, Autoimmunity, and Clin Rheumatol. He has clinical research interests in early RA, SS and SLE pathogenesis and disease development. Dr. Chen’s translational research focuses on understanding the interplay between abnormal immune responses and associated disease.
