Dr. Shi graduated from the School of Medicine at Zhejiang University with a doctorate degree. She is the doctoral supervisor of Zhejiang University School of Medicine.

Dr. Shi mainly focuses on the clinical and basic research of hematological malignancies, especially the hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.

As the main participant, Dr. Shi has been awarded the second prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award. She has organized 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 major project at the provincial level. She has Published over 50 articles including those on top hematology journals like Blood, Leukemia, American Journal of Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Biol Blood and Marrow Transplant.
