Dr. Zhao specializes in clinical and basic research on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and stem cell biology research. As corresponding author, she has published 50+ original papers in SCI-cited journals including Blood, Journal of hematology & oncology, JAMA network open, Leukemia, etc. She has primarily been responsible for the clinical work of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, with the number of transplants reaching up to 250 cases per year. She has been invited multiple times to give oral presentations at the American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting (ASH), European Hematology Association Annual Meeting (EHA), Asia Pacific Bone Marrow Transplant (APBMT) Conference and the European Bone Marrow Transplant (EBMT) Conference. For her outstanding achievement on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, she was awarded the national prizes by State Council in 2015.
