FU Peifen
Biography
I received my Doctor of Medicine degree from the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University. Currently, I am the Director of the Breast Surgery Department and serve as a doctoral supervisor. I have devoted more than three decades to breast cancer research. My research mainly centers on the mechanisms of chemoresistance in breast cancer and strategies for immune cell therapy. Concerning chemoresistance, my research explores the role of the eIF5A-2/ROS signaling pathway in regulating autophagy during epithelial- mesenchymal transition (EMT) - mediated chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. In the domain of cellular immunotherapy, I focus on the development and clinical translation of novel HER2-targeting CAR-NK cells, aiming to improve their survival, chemotactic ability, and antitumor efficacy within the breast tumor microenvironment.
