Biography

ZHANG Yun, M.D & Ph.D, is a physician in the Department of Cardiology, the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University. She has profound knowledge of common cardiovascular diseases and critical diseases. She has rich experience and unique opinions in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, hypertension, heart failure and arrhythmia.

About Dr. ZHANG:

As an attending of Cardiology department, I specialize in coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, ischemic cardiomyopathy and hypertension. I am interested in treatment of end-stage ischemic cardiomyopathy. Clinical research is also my interest. My basic research interest is the immuno-inflammatory mechanism of atherosclerosis, dendritic cells are involved in the initiation and progression of the atherosclerotic plaque.  I expect to find out a novel approach which targets inflammation to treat the atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases.

Publications:

Dr. ZHANG has published more than a dozen articles in peer-reviewed medical journals, mainly on the diagnosis and management of coronary heart disease. Participated in and completed two projects of NSFC.
