Graduated from Zhejiang Medical University, Hangzhou, China, I got the Bachelor of clinical medicine at 1993 and Master of Surgery at 1998. After finishing a 3-year clinical doctor training at the institute of surgery, Kiel University, Kiel, Germany, I got the Doctor of clinical medicine at 2003.

I have been working at the first affiliated hospital, school of medicine, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou China since 1993 and currently working as a clinical professor and vice dean for the department of colorectal surgery.

In clinic, my team is an outstanding one in treating patients with colorectal cancer especially the laparoscopic surgery and precisely medicine.

In clinical research, my team is focus on the tumor environmental based immune therapy.
