Biography
Dr. CHEN graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from Zhejiang University. After graduation, he worked as a Senior Physician in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine over 24 years. He once served as the deputy director of the Senior Physician Department of Gastroenterology. He also participated in academic exchanges as a senior visiting researcher at the University of Kiel in Germany. Besides, he published more than 60 papers and participated in book edition, including modern esophagology and clinical progress of Gastroenterology. He majored in endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding and various endoscopic treatment of gastric tumors.

Managing the project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and various provincial projects.
Project about pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of alcoholic liver disease won the first prize of Zhejiang science and Technology Award in 2007.
