Dr ZHOU Ning is a consultant gastroenterologist and currently works at the Gastroenterology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province in China. She received her Bachelor degree from Zhejiang Medical College in 1991 and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from Zhejiang University. Dr ZHOU performs regular diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy lists, manages patients with gastrointestinal disorders in routine clinic.

Her special interests include functional gastrointestinal disorders, fatty liver disease, intestinal microecology and obesity, as well as diseases of the pancreas. In addition, she has a keen interest in communicating with foreign peers. She has published several papers on clinical attachment.  

Dr ZHOU was a visiting doctor in NHS Foundation Trust UK for 3 months in 2012. She has also been invited by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for clinical observation this year.
