Dr. Xu Zherong has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of age-related diseases, specializing in the comprehensive management of metabolic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, and atherosclerosis in the elderly. He is particularly skilled in non-pharmacological interventions for frailty and sarcopenia. From October 2015 to September 2016, he served as a visiting scholar at the Geriatric Medicine Center of Wake Forest University, USA, where he conducted research on sarcopenia in the elderly.
