Biography
Dr. Gao, senior physician of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. After graduation as Master of Medicine (Seven-year program) from Zhejiang university in 1995, he has been dedicated in clinical, teaching, and research work in general surgery at the affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University, and he has accumulated profound experience in clinical practices. He has focused on the surgical treatments of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases such as malignant or benign tumors, hepatic hemangioma, bile duct stones, and abdominal injuries. He is an expert of minimally invasive surgery of pancreatic cancer resection, liver cancer resection, spleen resection, etc. He also has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, and acute pancreatitis.
