Biography
Dr. ZHANG is an associate chief surgeon of general surgery and specializes in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He received his medical education at Zhejiang University in China and finished postdoctoral training at National Institutes of Health in US. His specialties include surgical intervention of hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease, precision diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatment of tumors. Dr. ZHANG runs plenty of basic science projects studying biological and immunological mechanism of malignancy and has a reputation for excellent works on cancers. His academic work mainly focuses on development of new clinical staging system and novel therapies based on cancer biology.
