Dr. Cai is the Director of the Intensive Care Unit of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. He has been working in the area of critical care for almost 30 years. Dr. Cai has rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of critical diseases such as respiratory and circulatory failure, severe infection, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and cardiopulmonary cerebral resuscitation. He is skilled in hemodynamics monitor, mechanical ventilation, ECMO and blood purification. Dr. Cai has host or participated in a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and published articles in both Chinese and international professional journals and magazines.
