Biography
Dr. Tong was graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1994 and got a doctorate of surgery from Zhejiang University in 2006. He has been engaged in the Department of Neurosurgery of the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University for more than 25 years. He was promoted to an attending of neurosurgery for more than 15 years. He focuses on the surgical treatment of brain and spinal tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, hydrocephalus, neuralgia, etc. He is an expert in the treatment of brain tumors, AVM, and trigeminal neuralgia with Gamma Knife. He is a master's tutor and a backbone teacher in Zhejiang University.

Primary research interest involves immune-based therapies, genomics and radiomics of malignant brain tumors such as brain metastases and gliomas.
