Dr. Mao finished her scientific research training in Clinical laboratory medicine at Medical School of Wenzhou University from 2004 through 2007. Her research direction is immunology and her tutor is Prof. Chen Yu. She has long engaged in research on the pathogenesis of hepatitis B, anti-infective immunity, and molecular biology of pathogens. I have carried out earlier studies on the correlation between the specific immune response of HBV infection and the pathogenesis of hepatitis B and antiviral efficacy in China. At present, more than 13 SCI-indexed papers have been published as first or corresponding author, and her publications have been published in CCA, LIVER INT and J Clin Gastroenterol. So far, her work has been cited by other authors more than 100 times internationally.
