As one of the first members of the treatment team during the COVID-19 pandemic, YAO Jinmei participated in the entire process of caring for critically ill patients. For 27 years, she has been dedicated to her role, prioritizing patients’ needs and ensuring that every test result is accurate and timely. She has received no complaints since the start of her career, fulfilling the mission of a medical worker through concrete actions.
Recognizing limitations in scientific research, YAO Jinmei has focused on clinical problems through research projects applications and academic writing. She has successfully secured multiple research grants including the Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and has published a number of academic papers, including one Q1 Journal paper with the highest impact fator of 8.6.
Despite a heavy workload, she wholeheartedly mentor interns and advanced training students in complete their graduation theses. She also actively participates in department management and takes charge of the 6S management of the laboratory.
