Biography
Professor Teng Lisong is a Senior Physician and doctoral supervisor, director of the department of Surgical Oncology. He graduated from Zhejiang University and obtained his PhD degree in oncology at 1994. Between the years 1997-2000, Prof. Teng furthered his postdoctoral research in the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and New York Presbyterian Hospital in the US where he focused on gene diagnosis and experimental gene therapy. Prof. Teng performs more than 1,000 cases of surgeries each year including gastrointestinal tumors, breast tumors, thyroid tumors and soft tissue tumors. He has completed 4 projects that were supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, received 2 national patents and published more than 100 SCI papers.
Interests
surgical treatment on gastrointestinal tumors, breast tumors, thyroid tumors and soft tissue tumors;
molecular typology, immunotherapy, PDX models and the construction of a model bank;
application of novel drugs, drug sensitivity and screening
