Senior Attending, Director and Master supervisor of Department of Thyroid Surgery. Dr. Wu has been engaged in General Surgery and Thyroid and Parathyroid clinical treatment for more than 20 years. He is expert in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of thyroid cancer, nodular goiter, thyroid adenoma, hyperthyroidism, and parathyroid disease, as well as new advanced technologies as endoscopy thyroidectomy and recurrent laryngeal Nerve monitoring, with experience of thousands of variously difficult thyroid surgeries. He is also an editorial board member of Annals of thyroid, Chinese Journal of Endocrine Surgery, Chinese Journal of General Fundamentals and Clinical Medicine. He has participated in the formulation of 7 national consensus and guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases, as well as compiling 6 books including the National Medical Electronic Schoolbag "Surgery" and "Surgery" of the Thirteenth Five-Year Higher Education Press. He has also undertaken a number of national and provincial research projects as principal Investigator or cooperation with other researchers and published a number of articles in SCI journals. He was elected as the “Excellent Oncologist Trusted by people” in 2016.
