Graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Dr. Shen is currently Associate Professor of Medicine and Doctoral supevisor at FAHZU where he also serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Gastroenterology I. He received the Outstanding Gastroenterologist Award of Zhejiang Province in 2020. He is a full-time clinical gastroenterologist at the 1st Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. His major research interests have been in early detection and endoscopic treatment of GI malignancies, inflammatory bowel disease, alcoholic liver disease and GERD.  Between 2010 and 2020, Dr. Shen served the Director of 3 Programs from National Natural Science Foundation of China and published 15 academic papers cited by SCI as first author or corresponding author, which dedicated to researches on inflammatory bowel disease and alcoholic liver disease.
