Dr. Zhang Weimin earned his medical degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine.  He completed his cardiothoracic residency, cardiovascular fellowship training at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hagnzhou. He was also a visiting scholar at UPEN (USA) in 2013 and a visiting scholar at Clinic of cardiac surgery Karlsruhe (Germany) in 2015.

Board certified in surgery, vascular surgery and thoracic surgery, Dr. Zhang Weimin specializes in cardiovascular surgery. His clinical interests include minimally invasive cardiac surgery, valve surgery, acute aortic dissection, aneurysms, aortic root, surgical treatment for atrial fibrillation, congenital heart disease and coronary artery bypass.
