Chen Yanfei, Chief Physician, Graduate Supervisor, recipient of the Young Medical and Health Talent designation under the Zhejiang Provincial Talent Program.

Dr. Chen has long been dedicated to the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and scientific research of infectious diseases and liver diseases. Her primary research focus is investigating the correlation and mechanisms between gut microbiota and chronic liver diseases, such as liver cirrhosis, autoimmune liver diseases, and liver failure.

She has led numerous research grants, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program of China, and key projects of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. Dr. Chen has authored over 20 publications as first or corresponding author in prestigious international journals, including Hepatology, Nature, Gut, BMC Medicine, and Engineering. She received the First Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Academic Award.

Diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune liver disease, cholestasis, hepatitis B immunotherapy, Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, elevated transaminases of unknown reason, elevated bilirubin of unknown reason, and other acute and chronic liver diseases, as well as infectious diseases.
