Biography
Prof. Dr. Xiangming Fang graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine with a B.S. and a Master degree and then from Bonn University, Germany with a M.D. degree. She has been an anesthesiologist for more than 30 years and became professor in Zhejiang University School of Medicine since 2003. She also holds the position as Associate Dean Medical & Clinical Education, Zhejiang University School of medicine since 2013. As an anesthesiologist, she is very experienced and specialized in critical care patient anesthesia. As a scientist, she is well known for her contribution in the understanding of the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of sepsis. She has published more than 70 articles,some are in high impact journals such as Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A, Am J Respir Crit Care Med, Crit Care and Anesthesiology. As an educator, she devoted to train and guide medical students and physicians in various ways. She has started and organized the simulation training program in the Chinese association of anesthesiology.
