Dr. Guo earned a Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2017 and has since been practicing in the Department of Ophthalmology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZJU First Hospital). From 2022 to 2023, Dr. Guo participated in a medical assistance program, serving at the Haixi People's Hospital in Qinghai Province.
Dr. Guo is experienced in the diagnosis and management of common ophthalmic conditions as well as select rare eye diseases, with particular expertise in the correction of refractive errors and advanced visual quality analysis. Skilled in interdisciplinary medical-engineering research and clinical study design, Dr. Guo has published nearly 10 SCI papers as first or corresponding author, with a cumulative impact factor of approximately 50. Dr. Guo has also contributed to several provincial and ministerial research projects and was a key contributor to the team awarded the Second Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020.
