Dr. Shen is an Associate Chief Physician, holds a Ph.D. in Ophthalmology, and serves as a certified specialist in oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Shen is a Youth Committee Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association and a member of the Digital Ophthalmology and Intelligence Committee of Zhejiang Society of Mathematical Medicine. Dr. Shen was also honored as a recipient of the first “Warm-Hearted Good Doctor in Zhejiang” award.
Since joining the Ophthalmology Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZJU First Hospital) in 2010, Dr. Shen has developed deep expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular surface, eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal system disorders. Dr. Shen specializes in various cataract surgeries, aesthetic eyelid procedures (including ptosis correction, double eyelid surgery, lower eyelid blepharoplasty, and epicanthoplasty), periorbital injectable aesthetics, ocular tumor resection, post-traumatic eyelid reconstruction, prosthetic eye implantation, as well as endoscopic surgery for orbital and lacrimal disorders.
Dr. Shen has led one provincial/ministerial-level research project, contributed as a key member to one provincial key research and development program, and directed or participated in multiple department-level initiatives. Dr. Shen has published over 10 papers in high-impact international specialized journals.
