Dr. Xie is an Associate Chief Physician and holds a Ph.D. in Ophthalmology at the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine. With years of clinical experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Xie is also recognized as an Outstanding Clinical Postdoctoral Fellow in Ophthalmology at Zhejiang University. Dr. Xie specializes in the clinical diagnosis and surgical management of various cataract and vitreoretinal diseases.
Currently, Dr. Xie serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and a Youth Committee Member of the Laser Medicine Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association. Dr. Xie has led multiple research projects, including one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Program, one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Program, one Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and several other provincial/ministerial-level initiatives. Dr. Xie has authored or co-authored more than 20 SCI-indexed papers.
