Dr. Zhou graduated from Zhejiang University in 2007 and joined the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, where he has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in ophthalmology. His primary focus includes refractive surgery (such as laser vision correction and ICL implantation) and myopia control. Dr. Zhou has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of refractive conditions, common eye diseases, ocular surface disorders, and cataracts.
He has served as the principal investigator of a provincial-level research project and contributed as a key participant in multiple national and provincial research initiatives. From July 2017 to January 2019, Dr. Zhou volunteered as a member of the Chinese Medical Team in Mali, Africa, where he helped establish ophthalmic services at a local hospital and performed cataract surgeries to restore vision for numerous patients.
