Dr. Zhou Yijiang is an Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Cardiology at the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (FAHZU). He graduated from the inaugural 8-year clinical medicine program (M.D.) at the Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
Dr. Zhou has extensive international research and clinical experience. As a visiting scholar, he participated in the NIH "Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K)" biomedical big data research program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He also completed advanced fellowships at the Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute at the Cleveland Clinic (USA) and the George Institute for Global Health at the University of Sydney (Australia).
His primary research interests include remodeling of vascular disease, and cardiovascular big data. Dr. Zhou has presided over multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Program), two Zhejiang Provincial Basic Public Welfare Research Programs, and a General Program of the Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He also serves as a key researcher in major national projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Key Program and the National Key R&D Program (Young Scientists).
He has published over 30 SCI papers, including more than 10 articles as the first or co-first author in authoritative international journals such as the European Heart Journal, JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, Scientific Data, and etc.. He serves as a youth editorial board member for the Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular Research and the European Heart Journal (Chinese Edition), and is a Silver Member of the Asia-Pacific Structural Heart Disease Youth Club (ASPH). He has presented his work at major international conferences, including the ACC, ESC, and ISHR annual meetings.
