Dr. YUAN has been engaged in ultrasound diagnosis and scientific research of cardiovascular diseases for more than ten years. His areas of expertise include accurate diagnosis of cardiomyopathy and interventional evaluation of structural heart disease. He has long focused on ultrasound guidance for interventional procedures of structural heart disease, having participated in over 200 such operations cumulatively, and accumulated extensive clinical experience in interventional ultrasound for heart valve diseases.

Diagnosis and Research of Valvular Heart Disease and Cardiomyopathy by Echocardiography

He was invited to deliver an academic presentation in the Rapid Fire Presentation session at the 50th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Scientific Session of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), the premier global event in cardiovascular ultrasound. With its cutting-edge innovation and clinical significance, the research was awarded the Second Prize of the Young Investigator Award in Cardiovascular Research jointly presented by the Chinese Society of Echocardiography, Chinese American Heart Association, and Chinese Heart Association of North America.
