Gu Pengcheng, male, graduated from Xi'an Medical University (now Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine) in 1992 with a master's degree in orthopedic surgery from the school of medicine of Zhejiang University in 2005. He is now the deputy Senior Physician of orthopedic department and currently serves as a member of Zhejiang sports medicine society. He has accumulated rich clinical experience in the first-line clinical work for more than 20 years, and he mainly focuses on joint, trauma and sports medicine. We took the lead in developing arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery in our hospital and achieved good clinical effect. As the main knife to complete orthopedic trauma surgery, joint surgery, spine and other operations for nearly a thousand years. In 2008, he was received by Premier Wen Jiabao when he went to the earthquake-stricken area as a member of Zhejiang counterpart medical team to support Qingchuan. He has been awarded as the advanced worker and excellent Party member at college and university level for many times.

He presided over and participated in many projects of Zhejiang Provincial Department of health, Department of education and Department of science and technology, and published many articles in core journals at home and abroad. In 2010, as a visiting scholar, he went to diakonie joint center in Germany for further study. In 2005, he went to the United States for exchange and study. He has been in many famous hospitals in China, such as the Third Hospital of northern medicine, Shanghai Long March Hospital, the Sixth Hospital of Shanghai, the Ninth Hospital of Shanghai, Shanghai Huashan Hospital, Sichuan Huaxi Hospital and so on.
