Our center is the only independent, institutionally established cardiovascular ultrasound center in Zhejiang Province and serves as the leading institution for cardiac and vascular ultrasound diagnosis in the province.

The center has been awarded several grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial-level funding programs, and has published dozens of SCI-indexed papers.

The department currently has 74 medical staff members, including 3 professors/chief physicians, 9 deputy chief physicians, 9 medical doctors (MD/PhD), and 2 master’s supervisors.

Four staff members have pursued further study and research as visiting scholars in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States.

The department is equipped with 50 medium-to-high-end color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic systems imported from the United States, Germany, Japan and other countries.

The services provided cover nearly all aspects of ultrasound diagnosis, including fetal echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, adult echocardiography, intraoperative and bedside cardiac ultrasound, superficial organ ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound, and intracranial vascular ultrasound.

We conduct cutting-edge research in frontier fields including ultrasound targeting and carotid artery AI detection, and have published dozens of papers in SCI journals such as BioMed Research International.
