Physician Training
Physician Training at FAHZU
FAHZU started resident and specialist physician training programs in 1986 and 2007 respectively, with 12 national specialist training bases and 14 sub-specialist training bases. In 2011, the General Surgery and Urology were accredited as Higher Surgical Training Centres by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh(RCSEd)and the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong(CSHK). It became one of the National Pilot Bases for Standardized Training of Specialists in 2017. Now FAHZU has 23 national residency training bases and 8 national specialist training bases with 996 resident physicians and 51 specialist physicians under training.

And we expect you to:
1. have completed or been ongoing resident or specialist training
2. have obtained the doctor's license in your country
3. have clear learning goals
4. have basic understanding of China and Chinese culture
5. speak fluent English or Chinese

1. FAHZU Clinical Observer Application Form;
2. Resume in English;
3. Personal statement (including your learning plan and object);
4. Work certification materials and recommendation letters issued by your medical institution;
5. A copy of the medical license of the country/region (doctors only);
6. Copy of the highest degree certificate;
7. Health certificate in recent three months and negative report of COVID-19 test in 7 days;
8. Copy of passport personal information page;
9. ID photo;
10. Insurance certificate covering your stay in Hangzhou.
