On March 16, Dr. SU Junwei from FAHZU Infectious Diseases Department delivered an online lecture themed “Combating SARS-CoV-2 - A Global Challenge” for overseas international students of Zhejiang University from more than 30 countries and regions.
At the outset, Dr. SU introduced the origin and development history of coronavirus at length, and then the structure, transmission route, vitality, pathophysiological process, clinical characteristics and manifestations, diagnostic means and tools, treatment and vaccine research progress of COVID-19, followed by the description of the experience and responsibility of FAHZU from the aspects of how to find patients, control isolation, and treatment protection. In the following QA session, Dr. SU gave detailed answers one by one with his rich experience in epidemic prevention and control.
