International health cooperation and management talents visit FAHZU

On August 6, a delegation of international health cooperation and management talents visited the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (FAHZU) to explore new developments in health collaboration. The delegation, led by Zhang Xiaoyan, Senior Project Manager of External Relations Department, International Health Exchange and Cooperation Center, National Health Commission, was accompanied by Chen Zhengfang, Director of Cooperation and Exchange Division, Health Commission of Zhejiang Province.


The visiting group included health officials and experts from countries such as Cambodia, Ghana, Bulgaria, Nepal, Cuba, Tanzania, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, and Vietnam. FAHZU is a key stop for the delegation to gain insights into Chinese hospital's health management and practices.


During the visit, SHAO Zhexin, Executive Vice President of FAHZU, welcomed the delegates and highlighted the hospital’s achievements in advancing health exchanges and cooperation. He expressed hope that the visit would foster deeper partnerships with health management professionals all around the world


The delegates toured various facilities including the Skills Training Center, the Central Laboratory, International Health Center, Outpatient Pharmacy, and smart ward. They experienced the hospital’s integrated care model and digital health solutions firsthand, which exemplifies the efficiency and convenience of modern medical practices enabled by technology.

 


FAHZU, which has established partnerships with over 40 leading global institutions, aims to continue fostering open and collaborative international health initiatives, contributing Chinese expertise to global health development.
