Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Department and Zhejiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Pancreatic Disease of FAHZU led by Prof. Liang Tingbo, are devoted to research of clinical diagnosis and treatment, immunity, microenvironment and metabolism of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors. The team comprises more than 20 professors and researchers, and has reaped a number of innovative and influential research results in related fields. To further develop our team and research, we are recruiting PostDoc Researchers internationally.
1. Research Focus
a. Immunity of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
1) Key regulatory factors and mechanism of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumor immune checkpoint
2) Key components and interaction mechanism of immune microenvironment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
3) Key influencing factors and regulatory mechanism of immunogenicity of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
b. Classification of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
1) Local pathological features and pathological classification of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
2) Local metabolic characteristics and metabolic typing of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
3) Local immune characteristics and immunophenotyping of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
c. Diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
1) Markers for early diagnosis and prognosis of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
2) Drug resistance mechanism of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
3) New diagnosis and treatment techniques and combined treatment strategies for hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors
4) Management of hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumor sample database and clinical data
d. Other main research focuses
1) Application of single cell sequencing and multi-group technology in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
2) Application of mass spectrometry flow and mass spectrometry imaging in hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
3) The influence of dialogue between hepatobiliary, pancreatic, intestinal and brain organs on hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
4) The influence of organelles' steady state and their dialogue on hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
5) Epigenetic regulation of stem cell differentiation and organogenesis such as liver, gallbladder and pancreas
6) Liver transplantation, small intestine transplantation, multiple organ transplantation and Domino transplantation
2. Requirements
a. Doctoral degree obtained within 3 years; Overseas research experience preferred;
b. Research papers published on high-impact journals as the first author (or top journals in related fields);
c. Ability to independently carry out scientific research and fund application, and good English writing and communication skills;
d. Decent academic ethics and scientific research integrity, strong enterprising and teamwork spirit; Strong academic potential recognized by Postdoctoral Management Committees of FAHZU and ZJU School of Medicine

About Prof. Liang Tingbo
Chairman, Professor, Senior Physician, Doctoral Supervisor of FAHZU. Academic leader for General Surgery, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplantation. Prof. Liang also holds NSFC Distinguished Young Scholar, Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert of National Health Commssion, Outstanding Mid-Aged Expert of National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project, Wu Jieping-Paul Janssen Medical & Pharmaceutical Award, “Qiushi” Professor of Zhejiang University, Oustanding Talent of WR Project of Zhejiang Province and special allowance from the State Council. Prof. Liang presides over 30 projects including 863 Project of Ministry of Science and Technology, Key Project of NSFC, National Key Research and Development Plan. He has published over 100 high-impact papers as corresponding author and has won 2nd prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award as the main contributor and as the first contributor he won 1st prize of Science and Technology Progress Award by Ministry of Education, 1st prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science Award and 1st prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
