Dr. Fan graduated from the department of laboratory medicine of Jiangsu University Medical College in 2000 and worked in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine thereafter. He graduated with master's degree in clinical laboratory diagnostics from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2008, and was promoted to associate senoir laboratory technician in 2014. He served as the director of Haixi People's Hospital of Qinghai province in March 2016 before holding the position as the party secretary of Haining People's Hospital of Zhejiang province in March 2020. Dr. Fan is mainly engaged in the diagnosis and clinical monitoring of viral hepatitis and other infectious diseases as well as molecular etiology diagnosis of tumors.
