Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine is a public welfare plastic and aesthetic organization. In June 2012, it was separated from Department of Plastic Surgery. The purpose of department independence is to meet the rapid expansion and professionalization of plastic surgery in the society. As the department of the first hospital in Zhejiang Province, the plastic and aesthetic center is responsible for leading the distance of the plastic surgery market and advance plastic surgery technology.
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center is an important clinical, scientific research, teaching, and training center in Zhejiang Province. It includes Member of the Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Deputy Chairman of the Medical Aesthetics and Aesthetics Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeon Branch of the Zhejiang Medical Association, Standing Member of the Anti-Aging Branch of the Chinese Plastic and Aesthetic Association, Member of the branch of Zhejiang Plastic Surgery and expert of department of Zhejiang Medical Accident Appraisal Committee. It is also one of the world's top laser training bases and injection beauty training bases. Our center has long-term established cooperation with international authoritative academic institutions and medical institutions such as the US GOLD SKIN CARE CENTER.
At present, our center has a strong and vibrant plastic surgery team, while undertaking the research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China（NFSC）and Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation. Experts have their own expertise to meet the needs of plastic surgery at all levels.
